چکیده
recoveries of 49 mg (23%), 56 mg (25%), 18 mg (10%), and 6 mg (50%), respectively. Thus, the official method of filtration resulted in an average loss of oil and grease of 25% of the values determined by the proposed method. Two effluents (3 and 4) were precipitated by the method in this paper but extracted by the Soxhlet method and gave 16 and 5% low values, respectively. In addition, contamination of the oil fraction with Celite and fiber is apparent in the EPA Soxhlet method and oil and grease values are estimated to be 5-10 mg lower than reported.

Data on volatile compounds in fermented materials used for salmon fish sauce production
This article describes the analysis of volatile compounds in fermented materials used for salmon fish sauce production via gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS). Ten types of fish sauces were produced from raw salmon materials, including various proportions of flesh, viscera, inedible portion (heads, fins, and backbones), and soft roe, by mixing them with salt and allowing them to fermen...
متن کاملEffect of inclusion of salmon roe on characteristics of salmon baby food products.
Baby food was formulated from sockeye salmon (puree alone, puree + chunks, puree + pink row, puree + pink row + chunks, puree + red row, puree + red roe + chunks). In the 1st study, physical (pH, instrumental color, water activity) and descriptive sensory (odor, flavor, texture, visual color) characteristics were determined. Samples containing roe were lighter and less red (by approximately 3 t...
متن کاملNondestructive Determination of the Total Volatile Basic Nitrogen (TVB-N) Content Using hyperspectral Imaging in Japanese Threadfin Bream (Nemipterusjaponicus) Fillet
Background and Objectives: Considering the importance of safety evaluation of fish and seafood from capture to purchase, rapid and nondestructive methods are in urgent need for seafood industry. This study aimed to assess the application of hyperspectral imaging (HSI: 430-1010 nm) for prediction of total volatile basic nitrogen (TVB-N) in Japanese-threadfin bream (Nemipterusjaponicus) fillets, ...
متن کاملChemical and microbiological changes of salted Caspian Kutum (Rutilus frisii kutum) roe
Salted Kutum roe was prepared by soaking in brine to a traditional procedure. Proximate composition (moisture, protein, lipid, pH, ash and salt content), total volatile basic nitrogen (TVB-N), fatty acid profiles and microbiological characteristics of raw and salted roe of Caspian white fish (Rutilus frisii kutum) were determined. The results indicated that protein and moisture contents were si...
متن کاملThe possibility of VNN occurrence and the effects of nervous necrosis virus (NNV) on immunological and histopathological changes in Caspian Sea salmon (Salmo trutta caspius) fingerlings fed by Chlorella vulgaris
This study evaluated the possibility of VNN occurrence and the effects of Chlorella vulgaris on immune parameters before and after exposure to Viral Nervous Necrosis virus in Caspian Sea salmon (Salmo trutta caspius). Fish were divided into 4 treatments with three replicates. Treatments included one control group and three experimental groups (T1, T2 and T3). Fish in control group, T1, T2 and ...
